The story begins when Richard, the resident recycled candle maker, was a young boy…
While other children were watching television or playing computer games, Richard was in
the kitchen with his mother making jam, soap, jellies and…candles.
This was where he first had the idea of melting down old candles that were destined for the
family bin, in order to recycle the wax, and make new candles.
Richard then met Sargon in 2015 and Sargon immediately saw the potential in the idea.
The two of them teamed up to create a beautiful product out of something that
is generally accepted as a waste material.
THE RECYCLED CANDLE CONCEPT
Their concept is a simple one:
With the ever-increasing costs of commercial and non-commercial waste disposal, they offer
to collect your scrap candle wax and take it away to be recycled and given new life.
After the wax is collected, it is melted down, cleaned, dyed, and scented, ready
to be made into new candles.
